Dr. Elizabeth Perone VMD, CCRT, CCMT

Dr. Perone holds a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience and behavior from Barnard College at Columbia University and a veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.  After completing an internship in surgery, internal medicine, and emergency/critical care at Fifth Avenue Veterinary Specialists in New York City, she moved back to the Philadelphia area to practice.  She is a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian, is a Fear Free Certified Professional, holds additional certifications in veterinary physical rehabilitation and canine massage therapy, and has extensive acupuncture training. Her goal as a veterinarian is to provide minimally stressful appointments through gentle patient handling and clear, empathetic client communication.
